Chris "Big Papa" Thayer has been cuttin' heads since 1990. As the front man of the River City Blues Band he got a first class schoolin' in the blues.
A seasoned guitar slinger, he has shared the stage with cats like the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Robin Trower, Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, Tommy Castro, Johnny Winter, Little River Band, James Taylor, Walter Trout and James Hunter.
In 2006 he was nominated for the IEMA's in the Best Male Vocalist category. Shortly thereafter, he hooked up with several like-minded fellows who became "the TCB.
